A couple of months ago, I spent two days doing some touristy things in Mysore, a city I spent quite a bit of time in as a child. It was nice to discover that even through adult eyes, the Mysore palace was quite spectacular. I was that girl that went to the Edinburgh castle and loudly exclaimed that the Mysore palace was so much more exciting, and my adult self stands by that statement.

On the way from Chamundi hills to the Mysore Palace, we came across a morning market, with a ton of fresh produce. Since I had my camera with me (for once!), we stopped to take pictures and chat. Well mum chatted, since she speaks Kannada, while I stood by and smiled stupidly.

Also, get excited! we have a really nice dessert lined up for next week.
